Introduced in 1987, Italy’s dot IT country-code top-level domain extension is very popular both within the country and in the English-speaking world. The reason is that the domain is a pronoun, which can be used for forming creative and appealing domain names – write.it, youcanmake.it and so on. This is a way to have an easy-to-memorize domain name, so that it will be easier for your visitors to go back to your website or to give it with coworkers and friends. The extension can also be used for a website, which is linked to the technology sector since IT is an abbreviation, which is accepted worldwide.

Having in mind that .IT domains are not registered directly by IT-NIC, the Registry that controls this top-level extension, such a domain can be registered through a 3rd-party domain registration provider, such as ours.
